Lukewarm Christians Should Be Shaking In Their Boots

Lukewarm Christians Should Be Shaking In Their Boots

I was raised heavily in the church. I enjoyed the singing, when we had good speakers I loved the philosophy, was drawn to spiritual warfare and always curious about life after death. One side of my upbringing used the Christian faith to instill the ideas around compassion, inclusivity, generosity and gratitude that I'm still cultivating today. A different side of my Christian upbringing used all that faith to sow seeds of bigotry, hatred, fear and the mentality of lack (aka the idea that sharing is not possible because there is not enough to go around). I'd say it's pretty clear that,  for me, the message of connection and compassion won out over the low vibration, wack version that's damaged many lives.  While I no longer call myself a Christian after deep study of religion and self, I will always stay rooted in the knowledge that we're all connected, that the Earth is a gift and that treating others with respect and kindness is just-how-you-do. It's time to grow up, this is happening, we're shifting, lets go:)

To those of you out there that think all Black Folks are wise & woke: There are Black people that support  45. There are Christians that support 45. Colonization of The Mind runs very deep and that is to say, we've ALL been poisoned by the message of racism that hides around even the sneakiest of corners. There are many marginalized people who struggle to shed the old messages of inequality and their perceived lack of worth. Today I'm holding space for you. Find your way forward by seeking out the true teachings of Jesus Christ. Pray for a leader with Christ-like consciousness to guide our country into a new way of being, not just someone who calls themselves a Christian to dupe you into earning their support.  Using a big ole throwback y'all, #WWJD?? lol! BIG love today. Props to the folks bringing palo santo, sage, etc to the front lines
